Prodezi named one of Vietnam’s top 50 sustainable businesses for 2025

Prodezi Long An Corporation (Prodezi) has been honored among the Top 50 Sustainable Businesses in the “Pioneering in Waste Reduction” category of the CSA 2025.

This prestigious award, organized annually by Nhip Cau Dau Tu magazine since 2022, celebrates companies with clear, strategic ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) frameworks that deliver measurable impact on both the environment and society. Prodezi’s inclusion reflects its commitment to developing a true eco-industrial park model - where advanced industrial production operates in harmony with environmental and social responsibility.

Minh Truong, Deputy Managing Director of Prodezi Long An, said: “Being named among the Top 50 Sustainable Businesses is a meaningful milestone for Prodezi. This achievement is not ours alone - it reflects the close collaboration of trusted global partners such as CHITOSE and TA Vital. It validates the path we’ve steadfastly pursued: developing an industrial park grounded in ecological principles, where sustainability is integrated from planning to operation".

“We believe that modern industrial infrastructure must be built in tandem with environmental and community responsibility. Prodezi is committed to creating a transparent and efficient investment environment - one where businesses operate at their best, workers enjoy a high quality of life, and ecological initiatives generate lasting value. This is how we contribute to Vietnam’s green growth ambitions and sustainable economic transformation”, Truong explained.

As part of its long-term sustainability vision, Prodezi has launched a series of practical, future-focused initiatives. A standout effort is its collaboration with CHITOSE Group (Japan) - a regional pioneer in biotechnology and sustainable development - to implement advanced microbial composting technology capable of converting at least 80% of sludge waste and biomass into nutrient-rich organic fertilizer directly within the industrial park. Unlike conventional composting methods that rely on incineration or chemical treatment, this system uses specialized microbes to naturally break down waste, significantly reducing CO2 emissions and disposal costs. Its distinctive barrel-shaped design, integrated with real-time monitoring, also offers a rare degree of transparency, enabling stakeholders to observe the composting process and see circular economy principles in action.

In its initial phase, CHITOSE’s sludge treatment system is expected to process approximately 6 tons of sludge per month, with a planned scale-up to 33 tons per month in later stages. At full capacity, the system could produce up to 340 tons of compost per year, enough to enrich 17 hectares of agricultural land.

Dr. Tomohiro Fujita, Founder of CHITOSE Group, CEO of CHITOSE Bio Evolution Pte. Ltd said: “At Chitose, we help industry transition away from fossil dependence toward a biomass-based circular economy. Our collaboration with Prodezi Long An brings this mission to life. We plan to deploy our barrel-style aerobic composters - successfully proven in Japan - to convert wastewater sludge into nutrient-rich compost. Once the initial modules prove effective, we will work with Prodezi to scale the system across all sites, transforming industrial waste into a valuable regional resource.”

Located in Luong Hoa Commune, Tay Ninh (formerly Long An), Prodezi Industrial Park spans 400 hectares at a strategic junction linking Ho Chi Minh City with the Mekong Delta. More than an industrial hub, the park is designed as a fully integrated ecosystem where environmental, social, and economic goals are aligned from master planning through to operation. Developed under Decree 35/2022/NĐ-CP, Prodezi follows an eco-industrial model that incorporates circular economy practices and international standards for low-emission operations throughout its project lifecycle. The park is also building symbiotic partnerships with global sustainability leaders to optimize resource use and minimize environmental waste.

As Vietnam aims to become a regional leader in green manufacturing, modern industrial infrastructure plays a pivotal role. With long-term strategic investment and a deep commitment to sustainability, Prodezi’s eco-industrial model meets the highest standards of global investors. Being named one of the Top 50 Sustainable Businesses is not just a mark of distinction - it is a call to action: to help transform Vietnam’s industrial landscape into one that is greener, smarter, and future-ready.
