On September 24, 2026, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung signed Decision No. 1836/QD-TTg appointing a deputy minister of industry and trade.
Under the decision, Luong Hoang Thai, Director of the Trade Remedies Authority of Viet Nam, was appointed Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade.
The Prime Minister appoints Luong Hoang Thai, Director of the Trade Remedies Authority of Viet Nam, as Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade.
Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Luong Hoang Thai was born on June 9, 1973, in Quang Ngai province. He holds a bachelor's degree in foreign trade economics, a master's degree in international business and an advanced degree in political theory.
Luong Hoang Thai has held various positions during his career. From January 1996 to February 2003, he worked as an expert at the Multilateral Trade Policy Department under the Ministry of Trade. From February 2003 to November 2010, he served as Deputy Director of the Multilateral Trade Policy Department under the Ministry of Trade, now the Ministry of Industry and Trade. From November 2010 to February 2025, he served as Director of the Multilateral Trade Policy Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Since March 2025, he has served as Director of the Trade Remedies Authority of Viet Nam under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
