To serve readers’ demand for information on E10 gasoline, the Newspaper of Industry and Trade has launched a chatbot-based Q&A system on its online platform and the MoIT e-portal. From June 1, 2026, E10 biofuel will be introduced nationwide in accordance with Circular No. 50/2025/TT-BCT dated November 7, 2025, issued by Ministry of Industry and Trade. As this is a newly introduced fuel, applied on a wide scale for the first time, it has attracted significant public attention.

The chatbot has been integrated into Newspaper of Industry and Trade e-portal and the MoIT e-portal to support readers in accessing information on E10 gasoline.

To meet the public’s information needs regarding this fuel, Newspaper of Industry and Trade has developed and put into operation a chatbot Q&A system on E10 gasoline. The chatbot operates based on a database of hundreds of editor-compiled and verified questions and answers, covering common public concerns such as which vehicles can use E10 gasoline, how to use it, fuel consumption levels, and the mandatory conversion roadmap.

When users submit a question, the system searches within this curated database and provides the most relevant answer. In addition, the chatbot suggests related questions for users to select, enabling them to receive accurate, instant responses based on pre-verified content.

This approach helps readers save time and avoid consulting multiple sources. For questions that have not yet been addressed in the database, the chatbot does not generate content independently but records them for editorial assess  and subsequent supplementation, thereby ensuring that the information provided remains official and minimizes inaccuracies.

The chatbot is accessible on Newspaper of Industry and Trade’s website at congthuong.vn and the MoIT e-portal at moit.gov.vn, and can be used on both computers and mobile devices. The product has been developed by the Digital Transformation and Innovation Working Group of the Newspaper of Industry and Trade (Working Group 57).

This is an initial pilot initiative, designed with the aim of providing readers with a fast, convenient, and reliable information channel.

The editorial office hopes to continue receiving attention and feedback from readers so that the chatbot can be further improved, better serving information needs related to E10 biofuel in particular and issues within the industry and trade sector in general.
