National Assembly convenes session to discuss personnel matters

The National Assembly dedicated the morning of 10 November to a session on personnel matters as part of its 10th sitting.

On 10 November, the National Assembly held a closed session to discuss personnel matters during its 10th sitting.

According to the agenda of the 15th National Assembly’s 10th session, lawmakers devoted the morning of 10 November, 2025 to personnel discussions. In the afternoon, the Assembly met in plenary to deliberate on the draft Law on Population and the draft Law on Disease Prevention and Control. The Minister of Health provided explanations and clarifications on issues raised by National Assembly deputies.

During the fourth working week of the 10th session, from 10 - 14 November, the National Assembly will consider a number of key issues.

On 11 November, the National Assembly will hear the presentation and verification reports on the draft Law amending and supplementing several articles of the Law on reception of citizens, the Law on Complaints, and the Law on Denunciations; the draft amended Law on Investment; and the draft amended Law on Drug Prevention and Control. 

The National Assembly will also discuss in plenary the draft amended Civil execution law and the draft amended Law on Judicial Expertise, and hold group discussions on the above draft laws.

On 12 November, the National Assembly will deliberate on the draft amended  Law on Execution of Criminal judgments; the draft Law on Enforcement of Custody and Temporary Detention; the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Prices; and the draft amended Law on Civil Aviation of Vietnam.

On 13 November, the National Assembly will vote to adopt the Resolution on the 2026 Socio-Economic Development Plan; hear the presentation and verification reports on the investment policy for the Gia Binh International Airport project; and discuss in plenary the draft amended Law on Construction. 

The National Assembly will also vote to adopt the Resolution on the 2026 State Budget Estimate and deliberate on the draft amended Law on E-commerce.

On 14 November, the National Assembly will discuss in plenary the draft amended Civil servant law; vote to adopt the Resolution on the Allocation of the Central Budget for 2026; and deliberate on the draft amended Law on Deposit Insurance.

The National Assembly will also hear the presentation and verification reports on proposals for the ratification of international agreements in the field of foreign affairs and deliberate in plenary on the ratification proposals submitted by the State President.
