MoIT Party Committee studies, implements 2nd Plenum Resolution

A nationwide hybrid conference disseminated the 2nd Plenum Resolution, connecting central and local levels, with senior leaders in attendance.

This was a highly significant conference, held in a hybrid format, with in-person proceedings at Dien Hong Hall of the National Assembly Building and online connections to central agencies, provinces and cities, communes, wards, special administrative units, Party organizations within the military, public security forces, and enterprises.

The conference was broadcast live on channels and platforms of Vietnam Television and the Voice of Vietnam, as well as digital platforms. To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, attended and delivered a keynote directive speech.

In implementation of Plan No. 42-KH/BTGDVTW dated March 31, 2026, issued by the Central Commission for Propaganda and Mass Mobilization regarding the organization of the nationwide conference to study, disseminate, and implement the Resolution of the 2nd Plenum of the 14th Party Central Committee;

Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 554-CV/ĐU dated April 3, 2026, from the Party Committee of the Government on participation in the nationwide conference, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade organized the conference at its venue, connected online with its affiliated grassroots Party organizations.

At the Ministry’s venue, the Standing Committee of the Ministry’s Party Committee chaired the conference. Attendees also included members of the Standing Committee, the Executive Committee, and the Inspection Commission of the Ministry’s Party Committee; leaders, Party committees at all levels, and all Party members from agencies and units under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The conference was also held at various venues of grassroots Party committees and cells under the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The conference focused on disseminating the core contents, new points, and key aspects of the resolutions, regulations, and conclusions adopted at the 2nd Plenum of the 14th Party Central Committee.

According to the agenda, the topics presented included:

Regulations on the implementation of the Party Charter; Resolution on renewing and improving the effectiveness of inspection, supervision, and Party discipline; regulations on inspection, supervision, and discipline of the Party;Fundamental contents of regulations on political and ideological work within the Party; Resolution on continuing to strengthen the Party’s leadership over anti-corruption, anti-wastefulness, and anti-negative practices in the new period; Conclusion on the socio-economic development plan, national financial plan, public debt borrowing and repayment, and the medium-term public investment plan for 2026 - 2030, associated with the goal of achieving double-digit growth.

Following the presentation of these topics, To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, delivered a directive speech.
