Expressing gratitude for the warm reception, Tian Guohao thanked the Vietnamese Government and the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) for their continued support and close cooperation with Toyota Vietnam over the years.

Sharing Toyota’s investment orientation in the Vietnamese market, Tian Guohao said the company plans to further expand its production and business operations in Vietnam. Toyota aims to modernize its manufacturing facilities, promote technological innovation, improve product quality, and focus on green transformation.

He added that Toyota will introduce new eco-friendly vehicle models, expand production capacity, and increase the localization rate of its products in Vietnam.

To realize these development goals, Tian Guohao proposed that the MoIT continue to create favorable conditions for Toyota to strengthen its efficient, sustainable, and long-term operations in Vietnam.

Listening to and acknowledging Toyota’s proposals, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien affirmed that the MoIT would continue to facilitate Toyota’s effective and sustainable business development in Vietnam.

The minister also urged Toyota to promote programs that enhance the capacity of Vietnamese supporting industry enterprises and create opportunities for them to participate in Toyota’s global supply chain. These include VEAM member units such as Disoco, Fomeco, and Futu1, which have great potential for implementation.

Minister Nguyen Hong Dien emphasized that the Vietnamese Government and the MoIT remain committed to accompanying enterprises, including Toyota, in their long-term, sustainable business expansion in Vietnam, in the spirit of harmonized interests, shared risks, and with the principle that “your success is also our success.”
