On the afternoon of January 23, at the closing session of the 14th National Party Congress, Politburo member and Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man, on behalf of the Presidium, reported the results of the election of the Politburo, comprising 19 members.

The following is the list of members of the Politburo of the 14th Party Central Committee.

List of members of the Politburo of the 14th Party Central Committee:

List of members of the Secretariat of the 14th Party Central Committee

The 14th Party Central Committee has approved the number of members of the Secretariat for the 14th term at 13, including 10 Politburo members assigned to participate in the Secretariat in accordance with the organisational structure.

Three members were elected at the first meeting of the 14th Party Central Committee.

At the meeting, the 14th Party Central Committee elected three members to join the Secretariat of the 14th term, including:

1. Vo Thi Anh Xuan, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President

2. Pham Thi Thanh Tra, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Board of the Government Party Committee, Deputy Prime Minister

3. Nguyen Van Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chief Justice of the Supreme People’s Court

Based on the results of the nominations by the Party Central Committee, the Politburo of the 14th term assigned Politburo member Tran Cam Tu to continue serving as Standing member of the Secretariat for the 14th term.
