Hoan My with a virtual run and free health checks for the community

Hoan My Medical Group, Vietnam’s largest private healthcare network, today announced that it is launching a virtual run.

Themed "Hoan My Health", the event marks 27 years since the group’s establishment. With the virtual running format, over 5,000 Hoan My employees across 14 hospitals and 6 clinics nationwide can flexibly choose their own time and route to join forces for a healthy lifestyle.

Additionally, Hoan My will provide free medical examinations and screenings for someone in need. The free medical examinations and screenings will take place at hospitals and clinics within the Hoan My medical system every Saturday afternoon from April 1-27, 2024.

Established in 1997, Hoan My began as a small clinic on Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City. Its founder, Dr. Nguyen Huu Tung, had a vision to provide high-quality healthcare services at a reasonable price to enable Vietnamese people to lead healthier lives. Today, Hoan My Medical Group is the largest private healthcare provider in Vietnam, serving over five million patients every year through 14 hospitals and six clinics nationwide.

In recent years, with economic growth, the healthcare needs of the Vietnamese people have significantly changed. In particular, an aging population and lifestyle-related diseases such as cancer and diabetes are increasingly driving the shift in the healthcare mindset, from symptom prevention and treatment to comprehensive care, aiming for a healthier lifestyle. Pioneering the transformation to meet people's needs, Hoan My Medical Group sets its vision for 2030 to contribute to shaping the healthcare culture in Vietnam.

In addition to expanding the system to make healthcare more accessible, Hoan My is diversifying its portfolio and brands to provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients and the community. At the same time, Hoan My Medical Group continues to invest in human resources, adopt advanced technologies, and work with international organizations to enhance standards and expertise, aiming for clinical excellence to improve treatment outcomes, especially for complex cases.

Over the past 27 years, Hoan My Medical Group and its hospitals have been recognized by patients and honored four times by the President of Vietnam with the Third Class Labor Medal. The group has also been recognized five times as ‘Hospital of the Year’ in Vietnam by leading global market research and analysis organization Frost & Sullivan along with numerous other accolades.
