Hoan My Academy establishes strategic partnerships to enhance medical training and healthcare technology

Hoan My Academy, the Institute of Training and Research under Hoan My Medical Corporation, has signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with MRT Inc. and Lea Bio Vietnam. The agreements aim to promote cooperation in medical training, scientific research, and the application of advanced technology in healthcare.

The signing ceremony was held at the headquarters of Hoan My Medical Corporation, with the attendance of the corporation’s Board of Directors, leadership of Hoan My Academy, representatives from MRT Inc. and Lea Bio Vietnam, as well as affiliated hospitals and clinics.

These strategic partnerships mark an important step in the Academy’s efforts to enhance international collaboration, particularly in developing training programmes, strengthening clinical expertise, and applying digital health solutions suited to the Vietnamese context.

Under the MoU with MRT Inc., Hoan My Academy will implement advanced clinical training programmes in key medical specialities. These programmes will be developed and delivered in collaboration with experienced Japanese medical professionals, with the aim of improving professional competencies and clinical capabilities of Vietnamese healthcare workers. Both sides will co-develop and co-own the training content to ensure long-term sustainability and relevance.

In parallel, the partnership with Lea Bio Vietnam will focus on applying information technology and artificial intelligence in the management of patient care, including triage and treatment pathways. The initiative is designed to improve operational efficiency, reduce waiting times, and provide scalable digital solutions tailored to the needs of domestic healthcare institutions.

Associate Professor Dr. Le Thi Anh Thu, Director of Hoan My Academy, emphasised that the cooperation with MRT and Lea Bio not only supports academic exchange and research, but also contributes to continuing medical education, the piloting of new healthcare technologies, and the development of professional networks. She noted that these efforts would contribute to the integration of international knowledge and modern technology into Vietnam’s healthcare system.

Huynh Bich Lien, CEO of Hoan My Medical Corporation, affirmed that the group remains committed to improving the quality of medical services through investment in both human resources and technology. She expressed confidence that combining clinical training with technological innovation would lead to better patient outcomes.

Nobutaka Kato, CEO of MRT Inc., stated that the partnership would help elevate healthcare standards not only in Vietnam but also across the Southeast Asian region. He affirmed MRT’s commitment to innovation and long-term cooperation with the Vietnamese healthcare sector.

Yasuharu Hamanaka, Director of Lea Bio Co., Ltd., shared the company's vision of establishing digital health solutions as a standard model for healthcare delivery in Vietnam over the next 5 to 10 years.
