Mercedes-Benz Vietnam (MBV) has added the GLC 350e 4MATIC plug-in hybrid to its GLC lineup while adjusting the recommended retail prices of its gasoline-powered variants. The move comes as the Vietnamese auto market enters the year-end sales period, when automakers typically step up product launches and sales activities.

Mercedes-Benz Vietnam (MBV) has added the GLC 350e 4MATIC plug-in hybrid to its GLC.
According to MBV, the GLC 350e 4MATIC has a recommended retail price of VND 2.999 billion. The model features a plug-in hybrid powertrain combining a 2.0-liter gasoline engine with an electric motor, delivering a total system output of 230 kW (313 horsepower) and maximum torque of 550 Nm. It is equipped with a 9G-TRONIC nine-speed automatic transmission and 4MATIC all-wheel drive, with a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 6.7 seconds, according to the manufacturer's specifications.
The new GLC offers an all-electric driving range of 115-128 km under the WLTP standard and has an available battery capacity of 25.28 kWh. Its 11 kW AC charging system can charge the battery from 0 to 100% in around 2.75 hours, according to MBV.
Alongside the GLC 350e 4MATIC, MBV has adjusted the recommended retail price of the GLC 200 4MATIC to VND 1.999 billion and the GLC 300 4MATIC to VND 2.499 billion, effective October 1, 2026.
The addition of the plug-in hybrid variant and the price adjustments expand customer choice in the mid-size luxury SUV segment as automakers step up product offerings, sales programs and vehicle launches during the year-end sales season. For Mercedes-Benz, the GLC lineup now covers both internal combustion and plug-in hybrid powertrains, catering to different customer needs.
Alongside the GLC lineup expansion, MBV will organize “The Icons, Electrified” event from October 29 to November 1 at Thu Thiem Riverstage in Thu Thiem Riverside Park, Ho Chi Minh City.
The event will cover more than 3,000 square meters and feature more than 20 Mercedes-Benz models. Five new electric and plug-in hybrid models will be showcased, including the CLA 200 electric, GLC 350e 4MATIC, E 350e, S 580e 4MATIC and Mercedes-Maybach S 580e. The GLS Edition 140 is also expected to be introduced, with a projected recommended retail price of VND 6.068 billion.
MBV said visitors will have the opportunity to test-drive 10 Mercedes-Benz models, while also experiencing a special performance featuring the all-electric G-Class and music programs.
As the Vietnamese auto market enters the final months of the year, the continued introduction of new models, expansion of powertrain options and experiential events are expected to provide additional momentum for vehicle demand. In the luxury segment, this period also sees brands compete through new products, sales policies and ownership experiences.
