As Vietnam is accelerating its energy transition, the successful implementation of nuclear power projects will mark an important step forward, bringing the country closer to sustainable development goals and modernising its energy sector.

Affordable and competitive electricity rates play a vital role in ensuring consistent revenue streams for private enterprises, encouraging their participation in Vietnam's domestic energy market.

It aims to mobilise domestic and international resources for power sector development, adopt co-firing technology with clean fuels to gradually reduce emissions from coal-fired plants, phase out outdated and inefficient facilities, and accelerate renewable energy expansion to ensure stable and affordable electricity supply.
