The 500kV Quang Trach - Pho Noi transmission line project, invested by the EVN, has a total length of approximately 519km, consisting of 1,177 towers, with the tallest tower reaching 145m and the heaviest one weighing 415 tonnes. Construction was carried out under extreme weather conditions, such as cold rain, scorching heat, storms, floods, thunderstorms and strong winds, in harsh terrain.

Under the guidance of the Prime Minister on the spirit of working with the highest determination to complete the project on schedule, ministries, sectors and localities have collaborated tightly with the Ministry of Industry and Trade playing a pivotal role to support the project’s implementation. After just over six months of construction, the project has been completed despite an enormous workload.

EVN’s workers have braved harsh weather conditions and difficult terrain to make this project a symbol of responsibility, patriotism, and the determination to rise, contributing to the efforts to drive the nation’s resources to new heights, enabling Vietnam to stand on par with global powers.
