Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son urged Petrovietnam to uphold its pioneering and foundational role by leading the implementation of the 14th National Congress Resolution, achieving double-digit growth, and engaging deeply in value chains. Working with Vinachem, the Deputy Prime Minister required the group to remain the core, leading, and pioneering force in the chemical industry. He also directed the corporation to expand international cooperation to reach global markets and effectively execute the potassium salt mine project in Laos.

Regarding Petrolimex, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the unit to strive toward becoming a powerful state-owned economic group characterized by large-scale operations, modern technology, and high national, regional, and global competitiveness. The group must maintain its key and pioneering role in the petroleum sector, continuously expanding domestic market share, diversifying supply sources, and improving product and service quality. Furthermore, Petrolimex is tasked with ensuring national energy security under all circumstances while strengthening international cooperation to expand export markets, elevating the Petrolimex brand globally, and participating more deeply in regional and global supply chains.
