Bosch Home gains positive outlook from consumers
Five years ago, Vietnam was hailed as the "rising Asian tiger" with a robust GDP growth of over 5% for nearly a decade. The Vietnamese market has impressed with a forward-thinking community deeply interested in applying technology to improve their lives. With a population of nearly 100 million people and 50% of Vietnamese individuals aged 25-40 aspiring for independence, numerous opportunities and advantages have emerged for Bosch Home Appliances.
Established on January 1, 2023, BSH Vietnam is a member of the BSH Group (wholly owned by the Bosch Group). Bosch Home Appliances (Bosch Home) inherit the essence of 130 years of German technological advancement, becoming a symbol of quality, innovation, and reliability for consumers worldwide. |
However, despite being a world-renowned and reputable brand, Bosch did not officially enter the local market until 2022. As the first captain of Bosch Home, Mrs. Becky Vo established a highly knowledgeable and experienced team in Vietnam, well-versed in the market and ready to face the pressures. According to her, only talented personnel can create outstanding products and services to ensure maximum benefits for consumers. In doing so, Bosch Home solidifies its position in the market, just as the Bosch Group has operated for the past 137 years with Robert Bosch's famous motto "I would rather lose money than trust."
The next challenge to tackle is that many Bosch products in the market are parallel imports or unauthorized imports, and even counterfeit or imitation goods, which are affecting consumer rights. This is not only a challenge in terms of communication and promotion but also related to the widespread supply of genuine products, supporting dealers and customers.
Therefore, under the leadership of Mrs. Becky Vo, the Bosch Home team in Vietnam quickly established a network and relationships with major dealers in the market. At the same time, the company implemented the longest warranty policy for its customers and provided 24/7 customer support to deliver the best experience for the people of Vietnam. Bosch Home Vietnam has expanded its list to 1,000 dealers across all 63 provinces, creating a significant milestone for a remarkable transformation - the Bosch Home Appliances brand being among the top 10 most popular brands in the Vietnamese market.
Behind these successes lies a greater aspiration than the impressive figures achieved: the liberation of women from the burden of household chores. Mrs. Becky Vo expressed, "My aspiration is for Vietnamese women to be both beautiful when in the kitchen and relaxed while enjoying a cup of coffee. It is time for us to redefine the role of women in the family. Vietnamese women can confidently pursue their passions while still being the hearth-keepers of their families.”
With her vision and dedication, CEO Becky Vo not only leads as a successful woman on the path of her career but also represents the cultural values of Bosch - respecting women in the household.
Mrs. Becky Vo, a "relaxed" CEO wholeheartedly pursues her passion
Becky Vo, a "relaxed" female CEO, has an intriguing background that showcases her unwavering passion for technology. She began her journey as a Physics Honors student at the Amsterdam High School for the Gifter and later pursued a bachelor’s degree in information technology at the Hanoi University of Science and Technology. Her affinity for technology blossomed early on, driving her to embrace this field in the early 2000s when the concept of the internet was still relatively new in Vietnam.

Mrs. Becky Vo was once a shining star and the youngest member of the Software Development Enterprise Development Board under the Vietnam Industry and Trade Department. In the following years, she held various high-level leadership positions in multinational corporations and even founded her own startup. To this day, she has accumulated over 22 years of experience in the technology industry.
Contrary to the stereotypical image of a busy CEO consumed by a packed schedule and continuous meetings, Mrs. Becky Vo remains calm and composed in all her endeavors. She believes that maintaining composure ensures that managers keep a "cool head," enabling them to tackle challenges effortlessly and create valuable solutions. According to her, every decision in running a company is crucial, and thoughtful consideration of each step helps the company avoid unnecessary risks and maintain sustainable growth in the future.
These qualities have contributed to the shaping of Becky Vo into a formidable "steel" CEO, consistently surpassing all development targets set throughout her 20-year career. Her "relaxed" approach has not only become her "brand" but also serves as a wellspring of inspiration for everyone.
In 2018, Mrs. Becky Vo was appointed as the Sales Regional Director of Bosch. Just 5 years later, she officially took over as the new CEO and a member of the Board of Management of BSH Vietnam (wholly owned by the Bosch Group), specializing in the business of premium home appliances under the Bosch and Gaggenau brands in the domestic market. Up until now, she remains the first and only female CEO responsible for strategic business in the developing countries of the Bosch Group.
As an exemplary Vietnamese woman, being a wife, a mother of three children, and simultaneously fulfilling a full-time managerial role, Mrs. Becky Vo deeply understands the burdens faced by Vietnamese women: "They carry many responsibilities and expectations, such as being proficient in household and national affairs." Although society is gradually accepting gender equality, the majority of household responsibilities still fall on the "woman who builds a home". Therefore, she has placed great trust and dedication into bringing technology to daily life, simplifying household chores for homemakers. Thanks to the convenience of all the modern technologies, cooking is now easier with a single press of a button, allowing women to have more leisure and time and self-care.
That is why she strives to bring the Bosch Home Appliances brand to Vietnam and has been closely associated with the company in the process of introducing intelligent solutions that make household chores easier, providing opportunities for women to pursue their passions.
