Binh Phuoc Province betters industry promotion

(VEN) - With its efficient industry promotion efforts over the past decade, Binh Phuoc has been creating a favorable environment for rural industrial producers.

According to the Binh Phuoc Provincial Department of Industry and Trade, over the past 10 years, industry promotion projects/programs have significantly contributed to rural industrial development and rural economic restructuring towards industrialization and modernization, as well as job creation in the province. Binh Phuoc has realized 280 industry promotion projects with a total capital of VND54.4 billion.

The practical, efficient industry promotion support has helped province-based rural industrial establishments grow continuously, increase production, diversify product designs, improve product quality, develop branding and offer more competitive product prices.

Binh Phuoc has found solutions to bring into play its industry promotion achievements and further develop rural industrial development.

The province will further effectively implement the 2021-2025 national industry promotion program and make the most efficient use of national and local industry promotion funding, regularly review policies to suggest adjustments and supplements, if necessary, enable producers of outstanding rural industrial products to build and register brands, develop production, find and expand the market through trade promotion events; encourage rural industrial facilities to research and apply scientific and technical advances to add value to products, reduce manual labor forces, treat waste and environmental pollution, and promote cleaner production in industry.

Binh Phuoc will integrate industry promotion projects with other state support programs, prioritize the provision of support for producers in new-rural-area-project communes’ remote and extremely difficult areas, as well as manufacturers of advantageous and key products for export production, disseminate state policies, and strengthen the inspection, supervision and management to improve the efficiency of industry promotion activities.

Industry promotion workforce training and development, and improving the use of industry promotion capital are also something Binh Phuoc will do.
