Beyond borders: Regional award and 2 million visitors signal tourism surge

A prestigious international award and a two-million-guest milestone mark a strategic evolution, highlighting the success of the entertainment-led integrated resort model in the regional hospitality market.

The Grand Ho Tram is marking a significant moment in its development trajectory, as the integrated resort secures international recognition while approaching a major visitor milestone. The dual achievements come shortly after the property outlined a strategic shift to position entertainment as a central pillar of its long-term growth.

At the 19th TTG China Travel Awards 2026 held in Shanghai, The Grand Ho Tram was named Best Resort (International), distinguishing itself among a competitive field of leading destinations across the Asia-Pacific region.

The accolade underscores the resort’s ability to deliver a fully integrated hospitality model, where accommodation, dining and leisure offerings are developed in a coordinated manner aligned with international standards. Industry observers note that such recognition reflects not only service quality but also the effectiveness of long-term investment in diversified guest experiences.

The resort is preparing to welcome its two millionth guest, a milestone reached after nearly 13 years of operation. The figure highlights sustained growth and reinforces Ho Tram’s emergence as a preferred destination for both domestic and international travelers. The steady increase in visitor numbers is also indicative of broader shifts in Vietnam’s tourism landscape, where integrated resort models are gaining traction.

The Grand Ho Tram has launched a social media campaign aimed at identifying “experience ambassadors.” Participants are invited to share photos or videos from their stay using the hashtags #2MthGuest and #TheGrandHoTram, with submissions accepted through official channels. The campaign will run until May 2, 2026, with selected ambassadors announced on May 8. Those chosen will assume titles such as Chief Chill Officer and Foodie On Duty, roles designed to highlight and amplify the resort’s around-the-clock dining and entertainment ecosystem.

In addition, the casino has officially opened to eligible Vietnamese citizens under Resolution 08/2025/NQ-CP, marking a notable policy development that is expected to further strengthen the resort’s position as a multi-experience destination. The move is seen as a step toward diversifying revenue streams while aligning with evolving regulatory frameworks in Vietnam’s tourism and entertainment sectors.

The international award and the two millionth guest milestone reflect a period of consolidation and expansion for The Grand Ho Tram, as it continues to refine its positioning within the regional hospitality market.
