Diwali is one of the biggest festivals of India, which is meant to celebrate the triumph of light over darkness or in other words good over evil.

Over the years, Diwali has become an international festival which is celebrated by all the Indian communities abroad, breaking through the barriers of caste or religion.

Manoj Barthwal, Chairman of INCHAM, said: “Diwali has in fact now become an international festival which is celebrated all over the world, including in Vietnam. It was celebrated every year by the Indian community in Vietnam since the inception of INCHAM. After an absence of two years due to COVID-19, the festival is back this year, and INCHAM is proud to celebrate it with fun and frolic.”

The event held on October 28^th attracted more than 1,000 guests, including Indian community, expats, Vietnam nationals, and local people. The Gala was well covered by Bollywood Singer Aditya Narayan, an Indian singer, host and actor and his band, Bollywood Dances and Mystic POP band to rock the evening. It was an energetic, lively and entertaining event.

All attendees enjoyed the widespread of authentic Indian music and cuisine, and found out more Indian culture.

“We believe that with the success of this event, INCHAM will do more and more fantastic events in the future to support the Indian community in Vietnam as well as promote cultural exchanges between India and Vietnam. INCHAM also takes this opportunity to share the proceeds of this event for the charity purposes,” he added.
