In 2024, Moc Chau Dairy Cattle Breeding Joint Stock Company (Moc Chau Milk) was recognized as a National brand of Vietnam, as a result of its dedicated efforts in a journey towards green and sustainable development.
In 2022, the company invested nearly VND3 trillion in building the Moc Chau Dairy Paradise Complex, including a dairy farm, a high-tech dairy processing plant, combined with an eco-tourism model.

The advanced equipment and technologies of the plant helps support environmental protection, resource conservation, and sustainable development.
According to Marketing Director of Moc Chau Dairy Cattle Breeding Joint Stock Company Tran Quoc Huy, the company is dedicated to staying in harmony with nature and showing respect for it. Therefore, dairy farming process uses natural feed sources without pesticides.
Additionally, the company always makes great efforts to enhance production efficiency and build a green brand, which require the efficient use of modern technology while minimizing raw material and resource waste.
Huy highlighted that, following Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chinh’s directives, the company has made significant progress in promoting green development and circular economic practices by implementing smart production management systems and advanced automation technologies which help increase production efficiency, optimize processes, and maintain consistent product quality.
All Moc Chau Milk products are manufactured on a Swedish modern closed-loop production line, ensuring stringent quality control from raw materials to the final product. Notably, the products are free from preservatives and meet international food safety standards, such as ISO 9001:2015 and FSSC 22000.
Circular economy and waste reduction
Huy shared, “We reduce plastic waste by reducing the length of product shrink wraps and the thickness of plastic films for yogurt cups. We also replaced aluminum yogurt lids with environmentally friendly Mpet films, significantly cutting aluminum waste.

The company also repurposes plastic trimmings to manufacture plastic spoons, reducing plastic waste considerably, shifted from coal-fired boilers to biomass energy, significantly lowering CO2 emissions, and replaced diesel-powered forklifts with electric forklifts, cutting operational costs and reducing air pollution.
“These initiatives not only help us minimize environmental impacts, but also reaffirm our commitment to sustainable development, contributing positively to the common goal of preserving a greener planet,” Huy said.
To strengthen its competitive edge in the global supply chain, Moc Chau Milk has been implementing a comprehensive development strategy, centering on high technology and sustainability.
Huy confirmed that the company is executing its strategic development plan for 2020-2025, with a vision toward 2030. The goal is to transform Moc Chau Town, Sơn La Province into a high-tech dairy capital of Vietnam. At the same time, Moc Chau Milk strives to produce internationally-standardized dairy products, offering high-quality fresh milk to global consumers, affirming the reputation of Vietnamese dairy brands in the international market.
