PV GAS affirms determination to reform, succeed

2024 was the year that PV Gas gained the highest achievements in its 34-year development history, which it set many records and historical milestones. 2024 also marked the first time imported LNG was supplied for electricity production in Vietnam, thereby completing the full gas energy supply chain by pipeline, waterway, road and railway. Last year also marked PV GAS’s entry into the international LNG business market.

In 2024, all PV GAS gas systems/projects operated safely and effectively, maintaining high reliability and readiness.

Outstanding individuals honored at the PV GAS Labor Conference 2024

The achievements that PV GAS achieved in 2024 are clear evidence of the successful transformation of its business model and internal governance upgrade.

In 2025, PV GAS will continue to thoroughly implement the motto of “introducing new drivers, refreshing old ones,” be ready to transform the business model to suit modern development trends; focus on controlling costs effectively; and improving operational efficiency from the parent company to its member units.

Honoring outstanding individuals in 2024

At the conference, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union awarded the Emulation Flag to two units for “Having outstanding achievements in the movement of labor emulation and building a strong trade union organization in 2024.” PV GAS rewarded 16 outstanding individuals in 2024; honored 5 units of PV GAS Trade Union for their labor emulation movement and building a strong trade union organization in 2024; individuals who won first prize at the Oil and Gas Skills Competition in 2024; the group that won the Special Prize at the 2024 oil and gas safety and hygiene competition.

PV GAS is determined to complete production, business plans in 2025

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petrovietnam Le Manh Hung congratulated and affirmed the position of PV GAS - one of the important pillars of Petrovietnam. The corporation has followed Petrovietnam in managing volatilities and systems by making “dynamic” plans, steadfastly overcoming challenges. Entering the new phase, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petrovietnam requested PV GAS to be consistent with governance models and business models; promote innovation, integrate into the global supply chain to create a sustainable green transformation; actively promote restructuring; and elevate the energy knowledge culture to suit the new situation.

On behalf of all PV GAS employees, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PV GAS Nguyen Thanh Binh committed to deserve the trust of Petrovietnam’s leaders, keep implementing the motto “One team, one goal,” complete PV GAS’s development strategy until 2030, with a vision to 2050 in accordance with the Vietnam Oil and Gas Industry Development Strategy, keep adjust the business model to rapidly respond to market changes, with the goal of PV GAS always being the number one and pioneer in Vietnam in the field of investment in gas infrastructure and gas/gas product trading, especially LNG.
