As part of the roadmap for 2025, what are some several strategic priorities that GreenYellow has identified?

GreenYellow has identified several strategic priorities aimed at strengthening our position in the renewable energy sector. One of the foremost objectives is to continue the leadership role in the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) segment. This entails not only maintaining current market share but also innovating and expanding our offerings to better serve our clients. Additionally, we aim to forge a partnership with industrial zones to implement physical direct Power Purchase Agreements (dPPAs), which will enhance the operational efficiency and provide more sustainable energy solutions.

Furthermore, GreenYellow is focused on attracting large consumer clients and positioning itself within the realm of large-scale production facilities for virtual dPPAs. By doing so, we seek to leverage our expertise and resources to create a robust network that supports the energy demands of major consumers. This strategic positioning will not only bolster GreenYellow’s market presence but also contribute to the overall growth of renewable energy adoption in the region.

In parallel with these initiatives, we are also committed to developing integrated solutions that encompass Energy Efficiency (EE), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (EVCS) within micro-grid frameworks. This multidimensional approach aims to provide comprehensive energy solutions that cater to the evolving needs of consumers while promoting sustainability and reducing carbon footprints.

Considering the current situation for the renewable energy in Vietnam, what challenges that you think must be addressed to ensure a successful transition?

I think one of the most pressing issues is the need for clear regulations and urgent guidelines for application processes at the provincial level, particularly from key organizations such as the Department of Industry and Trade (DOIT) and Electricity of Vietnam (EVN). These regulatory frameworks are vital for creating a conducive environment for investment and innovation in the renewable energy sector.

Moreover, opening project registration for quotas is essential to facilitate the development of renewable energy projects. This step is crucial for ensuring that initiatives can progress without bureaucratic delays and that stakeholders can engage effectively in the market. By addressing these challenges, GreenYellow and other stakeholders can pave the way for a smoother transition to a more sustainable energy future in Vietnam, ultimately contributing to the country’s broader climate goals and energy security.

On a further note, as GreenYellow embarks on its ambitious journey towards 2025, the company is committed to collaborating with the Vietnamese government, businesses, and communities to create a sustainable energy future. By addressing existing challenges and fostering a supportive environment, Vietnam can emerge as a leader in renewable energy in the region./.
