Highlighting the importance of the project, Vu said Cat Bi is one of the important international airports in Vietnam, playing an important role in the socio-economic development strategy of Hai Phong City, the Northern coastal and the Red River Delta regions.

As for Hai Phong City, the city has committed itself to regularly supporting, facilitating, and quickly resolving procedures and problems arising in the investment process of projects in the city in general and the projects of ACV in particular so that the projects can be soon implemented, completed, and put into operation.

Accordingly, he requested the ACV to direct contractors to concentrate resources and seriously implement the construction of project items to ensure technical requirements, quality and progress. At the same time, fully comply with regulations on environmental protection and fire prevention and fighting according to current laws.
The official also asked relevant departments, sectors and units to regularly monitor the project progress, create favorable conditions, and quickly resolve procedures and problems arising during the project investment and construction process.
