City promotes effectiveness of collaborators network

There are currently six industry promotion collaborators working in Long Khanh City who support the Industry Promotion Center of Dong Nai Province under the provincial Department of Industry and Trade to grasp the needs of rural industrial establishments in the locality. Then, they provide advice and proposals to competent authorities to provide timely support for the establishments in developing and expanding their production and business activities.

However, Head of the Economic Department of Long Khanh City Nguyen Bich Hanh said that it is very difficult for such a small number of collaborators to cover all 15 commune-level administrative units, as the work requires their big efforts to coordinate with communes and wards to get hold of the specific production and business situation of the enterprises and establishments.

In the first quarter of 2024 alone, the city’s industry promotion collaborators surveyed 691 establishments in nine wards and communes, thereby grasping and recording registrations of the establishments for support in applying advanced machinery in production, such as Minh Duc Cordyceps mushroom establishment (Xuan An Ward), MR Cong Coffee roasting and grinding production facility (Bau Tram Commune) or votes for 10 skilled workers at the Hoa Sen dipping sauce establishment in Suoi Tre Ward...

As one of the beneficiaries from the local industry promotion policy, Phuong Linh Mushroom Production Facility (Xuan An Ward) has increased productivity and product quality significantly after its investments in drying machines for mushroom production, thanks to enthusiastic consultancy and support from the collaborators.

The network of collaborators is recognized as a bridge to disseminate policies and guidelines, and also provide opportunities for establishments to benefit from the support programs.

In the coming time, the collaborators will continue to implement industry promotion policies to rural industrial establishments, coordinate with relevant units to evaluate eligible establishments in such contents as skilled workers, outstanding rural industrial products at city and provincial levels, application of advanced machinery for registration in the 2024 industry promotion plan.
