Then, existing projects, programs and plans with related programs, such as tourism promotion programs or the One Commune One Product program... should be integrated.

Leadership and direction at all levels, sectors in coordinating and implementing industrial promotion activities are to be strengthened.

Thang added, every year, the city issues a plan on industrial promotion programs that closely follow the needs of rural industrial establishments, proactively proposes adjustments for each period in accordance with relevant policies and the actual circumstances according to regulations; prioritizing new contents that has spreading impact on rural industrial development; regularly reviews, builds, supplements, amends and completes the city’s mechanisms and policies in the field of industrial promotion. The selection of beneficiary businesses and establishments must be transparent, in compliance with regulations, creating a connection with the business community and rural industrial establishments.

Finally, Hanoi has diversified forms of communications so that rural industrial establishments can grasp information and actively participate in industry promotion programs and enhanced technological applications based on mobile platforms, smart information technology, and e-commerce in introduction and promotion of products.

As a result, over the past years, industry promotion activities have encouraged many rural industrial enterprises and facilities to boldly make investments to further develop their production and business activities.

“In 2024, via industrial promotion, Hanoi strives to recover the export turnover of handicraft products and achieve the growth rate of six to eight percent per year, create 650 to 800 new designs for domestic and foreign markets, support 600 to 650 enterprises to participate in trade fairs, support 10 to 15 rural industrial facilities to apply modern equipment to production, and enhance management capacity for 2,000 to 2,500 officials who are managers and leaders of the facilities,” Thang said.
