The MoIT presides over the organization of the annual Vietnam Foodexpo to help Vietnamese food enterprises bring into play their capabilities, take advantage of new-generation bilateral and multilateral free trade agreements (FTAs) to which Vietnam is a signatory, and make breakthroughs in both domestic and foreign markets.
“This is one of the most prominent trade promotion activities in the food industry. The event aims to create a professional trade and investment platform - a meeting point of hundreds of businesses with thousands of key and developing produce brands and products from Vietnam and foreign countries and territories, along with a variety of advanced and modern machinery and food processing technology, the Deputy Minister said.
According to Hai, Vietnam Foodexpo 2023 has a large scale with over 500 booths of nearly 400 businesses from more than 30 domestic provinces and cities and over 20 foreign countries and territories.
“Vietnam Foodexpo 2023 continues to be a major demonstration of the food industry, a place to honor Vietnamese national food brands as well as the quintessence of the world cuisine,” he added.
