First European Christmas charity market to open in HCMC soon

The first European Christmas charity market to open in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), in the garden of the Consulate General of France (French Residence) on November 25th, 2023, from 16.00-20.00.

The Consulates general of France, Germany, Hungary, Italy and the Netherlands collaborate in organizing this charity market.

The garden of the French Residence will exceptionally be opened to the public and be transformed in the space of an evening, into a magical place with the scent of traditional Christmas cakes and mulled wine. The choirs will sing traditional carols at the event.

Seasonal shoppers will find gift ideas among all the European artisan crafts and decorations sold then. Fun activities will allow children to explore European traditions and cultures. Kids will also have the chance to ride a pony!

The charity market is a perfect afternoon and evening out for families, friends wanting to enjoy some time together and to get into the Christmas mood! The event is a great opportunity to experience the magical and festive atmosphere of the European Christmas markets, while supporting a good cause.

All proceeds of the market will be donated to 5 charities operating in Vietnam, including Deutsche Cleft Kinderhilfe e.V., E-ducare, Ho Chi Minh Heart Institute, Mái ấm Bà Chiểu, and Sống Foundation.

The official program will be released soon on the event Facebook page, as well as the Facebook pages of the Consulates general of France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, and the Netherlands.
