As one of the top ten largest meat exporters globally, Canada is renowned for its high-quality and flavorful beef. Canada's favorable natural conditions for livestock farming, including vast land and clean air, combined with advanced breeding practices and premium grain-feed program, resulting in high-quality beef that perfectly suits the Vietnamese palate with its firmness, tenderness, and balanced ratio of bright red meat and white color fat. Through careful evaluation, Canadian beef is brought to Vietnamese dining tables, which ensures exceptional quality and taste while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety. Using modern farming, humane slaughter procedures, and advanced food processing technologies, Canadian beef stands out for its superior qualities.

Since the implementation of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), the import-export turnover between Vietnam and Canada has experienced remarkable growth, particularly in agricultural, aquatic, and seafood products. Notably, the value of imported Canadian beef has seen a significant increase of 400%. According to the Canada Beef International Institute (CBI), Canadian beef exports to Vietnam in 2022 were up 32.7% in volume compared to same period in 2021 with a value of $129.5 million CAD. Shipments to Vietnam represent 88% of the total Canada exports to the three main markets of Southeast Asia. Recognizing Vietnam as a highly promising market in the Asian region, CBI aims to further promote collaboration in this market.

Canadian beef can be found in Vietnam in specific supermarket chains and convenience stores such as: WinMart, Lotte Mart, Big C, AEON, Home Farm, ACE Food, and Vina Fresh Meat.
