Bac Ninh Province boosts industry promotion

The province’s rural economic structure has changed with an increased contribution of industry and services.

Bac Ninh will review, develop, supplement, amend and improve industry promotion regulations and policies, and promote and popularize industry promotion through the media, social networks and other channels.

The province will help rural industrial manufacturers choose and realize the right investment projects, promote practical and efficient projects in compliance with its annual socioeconomic development plans, choose qualified beneficiaries and prioritize investment in key and potential industries, and increase the efficiency of industry promotion activities through accelerating the realization of Government Decree 45/2012/ND-CP on industry promotion, dated May 21, 2012.

The northern province will also assist rural enterprises in branding development and trade promotion through trade fairs and exhibitions, e-commerce platforms, trade centers and websites.

The Bac Ninh Provincial Department of Industry and Trade has proposed that the relevant authority amend and supplement provisions of the Government Decree 45/2012/ND-CP, revise Section a, Clause 2 of Article 8 in the Ministry of Finance’s Circular 28/2018/TT-BTC to increase the maximum support for a technical demonstration model from VND1 billion to VND5 million, and adjust Clause 4 of Article 8 in the circular to increase the maximum support for a project to apply advanced machinery and technology to industrial and handicraft production from VND300 million to VND500 million.
