Festivals in Sapa

(VEN) - Sa Pa Town in the northern province of Lao Cai celebrates the 120th anniversary of its tourism this year with a series of special events, including a spectacular art program introducing the history of the Sa Pa national tourist area and its attractive and unique tourism products, as well as its targets in the future.

The Summer Festival 2023 takes place from March with activities such as the Mau Son Temple - Mau Thuong - Mau Fansipan festivals; Love Festival, Rose Festival, Street Festival “Dream of Sa Pa”, and other special programs.

The Autumn Festival will take place in August 2023, with activities including an open mountain bike race, Sa Pa International Mountain Marathon, a Full Moon Festival and Sports Dance Festival.

The Winter Festival will open with an art performance themed “Sa Pa 120 years - Awakening the cultural flows” in October 2023. It will also feature interesting activities such as the Sapa Snow Discovery Festival and Fansipan Snowy Paradise Festival.
