Nguyen Hoang Yen Nhi became the first Vietnamese player to win a medal at the Women's World Three-cushion Championship, which concluded in France on September 12.

Rising water level caused many ornamental tree growing areas in Phu Thuong peach village, Nhat Tan and Tu Lien kumquat village to be severely flooded. The trees were submerged in water for several days, causing root rot and mass die-offs, leaving many households with long-standing traditional livelihoods empty-handed.

The recent Typhoon Yagi has seriously damaged tourism facilities in the northern province of Quảng Ninh. Now many must rebuild from scratch, in order to return the region to the popular tourism destination it once was.

Typhoon Yagi has caused severe destruction across northern Vietnam, leading to heavy rain, flash floods, and widespread flooding in the northern mountainous regions. In response to the extensive damage and loss of life, emergency relief efforts and community support initiatives have been mobilised nationwide to aid affected residents and help them recover from the disaster.

The devastating Typhoon Yagi has left terrible consequences for northern localities of Vietnam. In recent days, many countries and international organizations have given helping hands to Vietnam.
